Starting Salary: $40,000
Base Salary Ranges
- Police Officer: $48,164.74-$68,733.25
- Lieutenant: $55,612.38-$72,725.49
- Captain: $64,342.91-$81,908.21
- Major: $73,708,90-$88,012.28
In addition to base salary, the following benefits are offered:
- CLEET Intermediate: $50/month
- CLEET Advanced: $100/month
- Shift Differential: $50/month
College Incentive:
- 30-59 hours: $40/month
- Associates Degree: $55/month
- 61 hours or more: $70/month
- Bachelors Degree: $120/month
- Masters Degree: $130/month
Clothing/cleaning/equipment allowance:
- $147/month

The following required documents should be presented to Human Resources when applicants arrive for the physical and written tests.
- Birth certificate: The birth certificate must be a certified state issued document.
- Education: If applicable, provide degree or official transcript showing semester hours completed from an accredited high school, college, or university.
- Military: If applicable, provide DD214 long form and/or official military records verifying length of service.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
- Must be 21-45 years of age
- Must have a High School Diploma/GED
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must pass a MMPI
- Must pass a background investigation
- Must pass a polygraph
- Must pass oral interview board
- Must pass a physical fitness test
- Must pass a physical as required by Oklahoma Police Pension Board
- Good moral character
- Felony convictions
- Domestic violence convictions
- Crimes of moral turpitude
